Brief Brand Introduction
Jiak Ba Food Heaven is a Singapore-born concept focused on Taiwanese comfort food, with a menu built around familiar dishes such as braised meat rice, noodles, oyster mee sua, fried chicken, and a range of Taiwanese snacks and sides. The brand's name comes from the Hokkien expression “Jiak Ba?”, meaning “Have you eaten?”, giving the concept a naturally warm and informal character. The food is presented as something straightforward and comforting rather than overly formal, making it suitable for everyday dining as well as meals shared with friends and family.

The restaurants have a fairly distinctive look, using strong red-and-cream branding, Chinese signage, illustrated elements, and traditional Taiwanese references throughout the space. It gives the outlets a recognizable presence without trying to recreate a traditional Taiwanese restaurant literally. The same identity has been carried across several formats, from the larger 72-seat flagship to the more compact Express concept, allowing the brand to work in different types of locations and for different dining occasions.

Jiak Ba also has a slightly broader proposition than a typical Taiwanese casual restaurant. Its three concepts allow the brand to move between different occasions: the main restaurant is geared towards casual meals for families and groups, Jiak Bar shifts into Taiwanese small plates and drinks in the evening, while the Express format focuses on faster, more convenient dining. This gives the brand some flexibility without requiring each concept to feel like a completely separate business.

The concept has been developed by Foodtech F&B Ventures, a Singapore-based F&B operator with experience in developing and scaling restaurant brands. Jiak Ba has already been tested within Singapore's competitive F&B market, with outlets receiving positive reviews and coverage from local food media. The proposal also offers both full restaurant and smaller Express formats, making the concept adaptable to larger dining destinations as well as more compact, high-traffic locations.
