Singapore Ranks 1st In Asia Pacific For Startups, 7th Overall Worldwide

According to the latest StartupBlink's Startup Ecosystem Index 2022 report, Singapore emerged as the top-ranked ecosystem for start-ups in the Asia-Pacific region. Singapore also ranked 7th in the world overall, jumping 3 spots over last year’s ranking.

The StartupBlink's Startup Ecosystem Index 2022 is considered to be the world’s most comprehensive startup ecosystem ranking 1000 cities and 100 countries. Since the startup ecosystem is critical to enabling aspiring entrepreneurs, and investors looking for franchise business opportunities to thrive, the report assumes significant importance for the franchising industry too.
The report highlights how Singapore’s growing number of accelerators, country’s stability, well-developed infrastructure, favourable tax legislation and ease of doing business attract "massive ecosystem investment" as well as an attractive franchise destination in the Asia Pacific region.
